I'm such a rebel
I can't think of any reason to teach state flowers to my kid. So I'm not going to.

It's a slippery slope. Next thing you know, you'll decide not to teach him about Sasquatch.
But you are going to do state bugs right?
But how can you start the Dumb Things I Don't Know Why I Know but I Do Know list? That list comes in handy at trivia night at the bar.
Love, Jen. White Spruce, Prairie Crocus, Bison. :-)
Oh, I'm sure I'll manage to teach them plenty of dumb things.
And Jen, I think cryptozoology would be a totally fun thing to study. Sasquatch, Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra...
You might want to wait on Chupacabra until he is a little bit older. Unless you want to deal with the nightmares.
